Dr. Thakore, in conjunction with Dr. Mehta, has established a Community Development Endowment at UBC which has supported dental initiatives at home and abroad. Dr. Thakore is also the Chairman for the Ghandi Peace Students. He is also associated with the College of Dental Surgeons of BC.

As a dentist, Dr. Chang knows the importance of a healthy diet and lifestyle to maintain good physical and emotional health in children, as pediatrics is a large component of his practice.

Dr. Maru was the recipient of the annual student award from the American Academy of Periodontolgy and later became a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology. He currently sits on the board of directors of the Vancouver and District Dental Society.

Dr. Nimisha Mehta is a very soft spoken, gentle dentist. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. Dr. Mehta's talents are very well known throughout her community as well as her interest in traditional and classical dancing.
